Took a walk with my eldest son and his girl and their dogs yesterday but was much longer than I'd planned to. Ended up walking about 3+ miles (felt like 12). Nice day but hot and today I'm feeling it. Sweet time with my boy and his girl though.

Then went to visit my granddaughter and the family. Ended up staying for dinner and reading her THE. LONGEST. BOOK. EVER. LOL. Didn't know Dr. Seuss books were than long. Still fun to ready with her and have her point out a couple words as we were reading.

Today the plan is to go spend the afternoon with some friends in a pool. I'll bring some water or some diet soda so I'm not tempted. Lots of adult beverage options at my friends house. It'll be so good to see them all. Haven't been together since January.

Need to go grocery shopping this morning so I'm not caught with no food again this week. Didn't have everything I wanted last week but made it work.

@liv, about lost my voice halfway through. The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins. 56 pages. And she recorded me the whole time on her phone lol. A memory I'll cherish but it was past my bedtime when we started reading lol.
