This is depressing 😒 I was extra good yesterday, even fasted until 2:30 and ate well under “maintenance” calories 😞 It sucks to think “I know what my body wants!” And then find out, I don’t. Ugh I’m too impatient!!

Like Adef said, your trendline looks Great! If at some point you decide it's leveled out into maintenance, only make a minor tweak instead of trying a crash diet move. Maybe an extra 600 steps a day or some other 10 minute movement. But, you've done so well my advice is just stay consistent and be patient, even if that is hard.

Yeah... your trendline still looks great! Yes, I know we want it to go 'strait down and to the right', but, it has been so many months that we have been at this, and I think it is really important that we have diets that don't make us miserable, even if it is slower than we would like :) I usually get fast results with fasting, but, now I am at zero net loss for the week :( I decided to just accept it. I can only do 'super aggressive' dieting for short periods of time... Anyway, take care!

Very small jump and there is no way to know why it happened. Yeah only a longer perspective will tell you the true story. But I know that feeling.

Please, don't stress about it, you know you have been eating right, so probably your body is retaining water. Keep doing what you do and be patient. 😀💜

Just the way you stand on the scale can change the numbers + or - so I wouldn't worry about such a little difference. That's less weight than an 8 ounce glass of water.

long term - don't fret the day to day! if you ate anything salty your body retains water (which will go away over a couple of days). I ate really well, exercised hard and gained 2 lbs - I had kalamata olives - which taste like salt!

Don't get discouraged Dawnie - you are doing so well and you will get that downward push soon since you are doing what you should!

Relax...it’s all good! You know how to get to where you are going, so you will arrive in due time. Remember, it’s not a race; it’s a journey 😊

Do you use an app etc to record your trending weight? It helps to see where you are going..

CD, I am sorry if I am asking a question that has already been answered. Do you average out your weight at the end of the week or go by each individual day? Just asking because everyday fluctuations can drive you insane. I know you know what you are doing, just hate to see you get frustrated. You are doing a good job as long as you keep at it. :)

Thanks guys! I appreciate the encouragement ❤️ It’s been a long time since I’ve actually tried to lose weight(to reach a certain weight). I kinda just “live and let live’d” most days during the holiday season. When I first started I went through weeks of no progress despite my near perfect macros. I don’t want to relive that 🙁 but I guess I’m going to. Because I’m not going to give up!

This is the only app I use and I just try to weigh in daily. I’ve never tried averaging it out. I might try that or I might try just weighing in once a week.

CD, when first started DEADPOOL explained to me how weighting everyday and averaging it out gives you a more accurate weight, because of the fluctuations that take place within a day. I think if you start doing that you will be encouraged. I even average out my weight by the month so I can see a bigger picture of me progress or lack of. 😊

I guess I need to try that out. I’m so stressed out right now. I know I’m just obsessing because This is something I should have control over but I don’t. Or at least it doesn’t seem like I do so it’s just one more thing upsetting me and causing me more anxiety.

Weigh yourself everyday and look at the average of each week. My weight goes up during the weekends and down during weekdays but overall down each week.

The same with my weight, normally I just have a lower number once a week

If you know for sure you’re eating right just stay calm. Drink water and keep doing what you’re doing. Just posted my weight trends for you.

I’ve started to second guess everything I’m eating. I have eaten sugar free chocolate and Atkins bars but none this week since I thought they might be missing with me. I dug out my ketone meter yesterday and was surprised to see a low 1.4 and this morning only 1.1 so I think I’m not eating enough fat. Before my break from keto, 2.5-3.5 was normal. I’ve only been back on it for 2 weeks but day 8 of keto (Back in May) my blood ketone reading was a 3. something so I would expect to be about the same.
