I hear you. I love to try new recipes and like to bake. Not enough people around who can afford to eat that kind of stuff anymore.

Kenna, every time I bake I think of my mom. When I was little I helped her in the kitchen all the time. We made cakes, pies, breads, jams, Jellies, cookies and candies. I always have on slice are taste, and everyone else in the house eats it. My joy comes from the baking. My weight loss comes from watching everyone else eat it. Thank goodness for nieces, nephews and other family.

Gzink5– I think of mt mom as well. She went to work when I was in the 6th grade so from then on out I made all the supper meals until I graduated. . I liked doing it and at least my family ate it. No food network back in those days to learn from.
