Feeling good today. It's Friday! I have an unexpected meet and greet with a headhunter for a new job. I wasn't looking, but this opportunity presented itself so we'll see where it goes. I went shopping for something professional to wear last night and spent 2 hours in Macy's wandering around. I'm not used to my body, yet. I picked up a bunch of size 12 pants (the last time I bought pants they were 16's) and all the 12s swam on me. I was able to get into an 8 in one designer! However, I guess I'm kind of between sizes because nothing really fit me well and I don't have time to get to the tailor. I'll make what I have work. I did buy a dress for a wedding I'm going to later this month and it was exciting to go down 2 sizes :) I don't really see myself the way I am now, plus I'm really loose and flabby as I start to tone -- I want to cover up.

Kenna, it's administrative -- kind of a "gal Friday". I'm fluent in the Microsoft Suite + Publisher, so that gets me in the door. I'm working in an administrative capacity right now, but I took the job quickly for it's ability to let me sit while working (as opposed to all the standing/running around I did while an organizer and merchandiser). The job is good (the people are GREAT) but the money is loooooooow. No real opportunity to advance. I just received another big chunk of work to add to my labors and thought, "Hmmmm..." When this new opportunity appeared, I figured, "What the heck?" At the worst I'll have a nice lunch with a headhunter :)

Lunch went well; we both had the taco salads :) The actual job we had in mind was not a good fit for me, but she thinks there's potential for me so we shall see.
