My knee went out yesterday. I'm having intermittent pain/instability which SUCKS. I thought I was over all this, but my energetic weekend messed me up. Yesterday was a crutch and knee brace day, which makes me move less (obviously). This wrecks the "move more" part of my diet philosophy. I'll see if I can handle the stationary bike tonight. I'm so irritated!!!
70.7 kg Lost so far: 6.9 kg.    Still to go: 9.4 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

Just take it easy. Gardening ain't no joke! If you injure yourself it will be a setback. Listen to your bod!

Until it is better use arm weights, and follow one of the chair exercise shows or internet exercise classes. Movement is movement.

Thanks, all. Today is the first time I've been really glad I have a sit-down job. I found a YouTube channel that has the Royal Philharmonic playing ABBA and I have my favorite tea. Arms are the way to go; thank you for the reminder, Kenna. I'll work them tonight... after I go to the dentist and have 3 old cavities drilled out and re-filled. Guess I won't be eating much tonight. I'm ready for tomorrow already!

Don't push with pain like that - you can do some serious damage. Be very gentle with yourself, doctors don't tell you that an injury can take years to resolve, meaning an injury might be considered "healed" but you still have to be careful not to overdo. Hope you feel better soon!

So sorry. Don't overdo it. It is hard when you are getting back to being active. Broke my ankle last year and if I walk to much I know it. Ease into it.
