LSG417's Journal, 01 Jul 18

Really don't know how this happened. I had been I clinging to the 137.6 to 138 (& fluctuating higher) range for over 2 weeks, maybe longer and the last 2 days it's gone down over a pound each day. I'm hoping it's not a fluke and it continues down. I really want to get under 130. If I stall at 128, I certainly won't complain! At my current weight, I am officially no longer in the "overweight" category!

Congrats! This has happened to me a lot. I'm on my second run, after losing a bunch with another similar app a couple of years ago. I found that happened to me regularly. I'd often "plateau", then lose a bunch all at once, over and over again. I figure my body is just doing its thing. I don't know why it works that way, I'm just happy it's working! However it happens, you seem to be doing just fine! Keep it up!

Thanks Ches, Tahoe & oberlin! And yes, oberlin, I seem to stall in cycles and I have to change things up to get it moving again. Seems to be every 10 pounds or so, for me. Good luck on your journey!

Excess water weight, probably flushing out. When we're losing weight our bodies hold water in it's place until it finally gets the hint that it's okay to let go.
