I feel it but it will be a big motivator by getting on. Vacations are supposed to be fun. I just came back from mine and the number on the scale swung up a lot. I've corrected this in a major way and it has only been 3 days so you can do the same.

Just get on the scale. I bet a lot of it will be water retention.

How did it go? How often do you weigh? --- I don't weigh at all. BH weighs once a month; their starting point was similar to yours, goal probably as well (I haven't converted kilos to exact pounds though) and about 40lbs to go. I can see weighing daily for maintenance, but frequent weighing seems to generate a lot of emotional distress for some people.--- We can't all be Ches running in a fasted state and rocking the post-vacay quick weight corrections. (Though now I'm always going to imagine him draped in the world's biggest, freshest blueberry pie, not eating any of it. This might slow his running pace somewhat.) ---Only you know what works best for you. ---To answer your real question, though, YES. I'm scheduled for a body composition analysis next week, BOD POD method, and I assume that includes a weight number. Hate the idea. Do not want to know.

I never wanted to get on the scale. I was ( and sometimes am) adverse even when I have been eating properly. Even when I eat "clean" Keto. So, my goal (long term) as I approach maintenance is to consider daily weigh-ins. For now, I weigh once a week. I know from all my years of dieting that I am giving up when I refuse to weigh in. Its my non-verbal cue that I quit. Well today I am NOT a quitter. Keto isn't a diet. Keto is a way of eating. So, here today, I tell myself..."Just do it!" KCKO. My best to you today.

I dread getting on the scale after vacation and will avoid it until finally my curiosity gets the best of me. Usually I am right to avoid it because of the disappointment.

Guilt is a terrible construct. It is what it is, it will be what YOU determine it will be. Carry on.
