jmb3450's Journal, 03 Jan 17

I'm glad the holiday celebrations are over with. No matter how much I tell myself I will not indulge, I always do. But I'm ready to put all that behind and move forward, to make this the best year yet since I've started this journey of lower weight and better health.

Unfortunately whatever is going on with my left achilles and heel isn't getting any better, so I'm going to see an orthopedist about it. Hopefully they can get me in soon. Until it gets better my activity level will be much lower, although I should be able to do some upper body workouts as long as I'm sitting.

I can only think of one year that I stuck with my resolve. ONE! I am 66 yrs old. LOL! I wish you the best with achilles ligament. Once they get torn, it takes forever for them to heal up. I tore mine over and over and finally had to quit running. Upper work is the a great idea!!!

Thank you my friends. I called the orthopedist I went to in the past, they can't get me in until mid February, that's crazy. So I'm looking for another doctor. Might try a podiatrist instead.

Best of Luck Jim with the foot healing... You can still lose weight without the physical activity, You just have to be stricter with calorie intake. Best of luck on new doc search! Happy New Year Pam and Buddy the Maine coone cat :)
