Yes Misty, my whole family skied growing up, mom was also a ski patroller and owned part of a small local hill until just a few years ago...she's 76 now. Dad passed away 9 years ago...type 2 diabetes complications. All our kids, significant others and my wife either ski or snowboard now...it helps makes our long Canadian winters go by quicker and is great exercise and a bit of fun.

Great session, Steven! Living in the deep South, I admit to having a wee bit of snow envy. I love to ski! But I'll also admit to loving not having to scrape the ice/snow off my windshield in the mornings, and as we say down here, "You don't have to shovel humidity..."

Thnx Kes! I hear you....we spent some time in Socorro, New Mexico where I finished up an engineering degree,...most winter days were like our fall days here....summer though was very hot and long... #lookingforshade.

My gym's whole process involves wearing a heart rate monitor, If you get at least 20 minutes at 85% and above, you burn more calories all day.

Hey great work there, Steven. I would love to hit the slopes at least one more time. Good luck on ski season.

Hey HCB, I think Orange theory is also all about keeping your HR in the "Orange" zone (80% zone I think)...don't know much about that but I've heard it is a great conditioning workout. Warren, I hope that I am able to ski until my grand kids have kids, lol. I am very appreciative of every year that I can still move without having any big issues.
