I was able to run today without any pain in my legs, taking a break from it seems to have allowed whatever the issue I was having to heal up. In the meantime I've done more strength training and plan to continue that, keeping a better balance between strength and cardio. I love the combination of exhilaration and exhaustion you feel right after a workout. Rubber arms, rubber legs, lol.

Yah, I gave up on heavy (almost exclusive) cardio I was doing for over a year, and started strength training that does have cardio. Easier on my 62 yr old joints for sure.

Glad you are feeling better. Read your profile and it is very similar to my own... though I got 5 bypasses in April instead of stints. Five 5K's since August... amazing what you can do with blood going through your heart! Keep up the good fight!
