For years I've lied about my weight on my driver's license. My previous license I told them about about 25 pounds lighter than I really weighed. So glad they don't have a scale at the DMV to make you prove it. This past June I had to go in to get a new license. I decided I'd just be honest. Also didn't bother with makeup or my hair. A bad habit since Covid. Anyway, when I went to get an X-Ray yesterday they asked for my insurance cards and driver's license. I realized I know weigh 9 pounds less than the license says! I am motivated lose more before I more to Oregon. I will fix my hair and wear make up for the new driver's license I will need there.

It was 50 degrees in the house when I woke up and 33 degrees outside. Not cold enough to freeze the water in the bird bath. I put a big warm sweatshirt in the dryer before putting it on to wear to bed. I have a heated throw blanket to help keep me warm. I shut the 3 cats in the master bedroom last night. I turned on the 2 heated throws for them. I slept in the guest room with my dog. The cats drive me crazy this time of year, no room for me in the bed.

I think that if they want to know your weight they should weigh you are not even ask of put it on there. My weight is honest on mine. I didn't wear make up or do my hair the last time too and I looked dreadful. Love cats. They do fill a bed though. LOL.

Lots of folks would skip DL if weighed at the DMV! I have room in the bed . . . I just can't turn over! 🐈🐈

I did not know you are moving. That sounds like fun. I think I lie as well... I give them a round number usually the one lower than what I actually am. I woke up to minus 24 F today. But the house is warm

Thanks Honest Morticia! I actually think I just lied on the previous license. Way back around 2001 I lost weight and got to a low of 129. Happened to be at the time to renew my license. Here in California they just send you a new license when it expires too used that license as I gained and gained weight. When I moved to the house I am now I went in to get a new license and told the person I had gain around 40 pounds. She said "should I say 165"? Of course I agreed. I think I was somewhere in the 180's and I thought " well, I'll lose the weight anyway". And a few years later I did get to the mid 150's. Hope to stop the yo yo thing.

Thanks Laurie! I can't move if all the cats are with me as well as the dog, Bobby. My 22 pound cat is the worst. He likes stretch out, preferably in my spot and he won't budge. As soon as the weather warms up it's fine, they all find different places to sleep

The state I live in weight is not on the DL. Just height, eye color and hair color. We also don’t have to update the photos we renew our license online. My photo is from 24 years ago. At that time of the photo I had done a 6 week temp strawberry blonde to my hair. For some strange reason I also had on my sunglasses which had a transition lens. Which I didn’t need for distance vision and not on my DL restrictions. My height isn’t even right because when I got the original license I just guessed. Turns out I am 2” shorter. I am also light blonde/ grey and don’t wear glasses. But my eye color is right. Green. lol

frizzy, I hear that! I haven't bothered with make up for a decade. Can't stand the stuff. I don't have a problem with people using it (not a right/wrong thing), but it is definitely not for me.

Thanks Unity! Frizzy is a good description of me, especially in rainy weather. I don't often wear makeup, sometimes just lipstick. But I don't want another horrible drivers license picture!

When is the house supposed to be done? You probably mentioned it but; forgot. I have the heat on in house but keep it kind of low because we have a wood burning fireplace. I hate when I first go back to our bedroom and it's always cold. Joe is so sweet. I shower at night around 7 pm so he will plug in a small space heater we have in the bathroom after dinner so it's warm when I go to take a shower. 🩷 It is very cold here lately. Woke up to 33 degrees this morning. Right now it's 46. 🥶

Diana, it was 33 outside this morning here as well. It's 44 right now. I keep the house pretty cold, in the low 60's. More than that and I get hot. The house was supposed to be finished around April. But there was a delay for something for 8 weeks, so maybe June unless they make up time. I've heard horror stories about people waiting a year or so. But this development is in phase 2 or 3 and they just do a few at a time, so I am hopeful. I just need to know when to put my house up for sale

What a nice surprise! I don't think they list weight on our Driver's License. Guess they got tired of us lying. LOL
