Woke at 214.6. Wondering what I gotta do already! At work, ate a tablespoon of coconut oil, two cups of low sodium cottage cheese with chia, flax, and a few tablespoons of oatmeal in it, a scoop of protein powder, a Quest bar, and a grapefruit -- all in all, about 1000 calories. Came in the door at 215.2. Unreal. Had to bring home some work and didn't finish until after midnight, so could not get on the treadmill. Ate light enough to maintain a 1000 calorie deficit. Waiting for the eventual levy break on this water weight! And tomorrow is lunch out and the Kennedy Center at night. Yikes.

Bill Check you sodium levels, I know you seem to retain water alot. Sometime things are low in calories but high in sodium.. Example pickles, V8

Bill just check you diet calendar yesterday, your numbers look pretty good. Its hard to keep sodium down. I think you just need time. People have told me that I did not gain the weight overnight and I will not lose it overnight

I don't know what time zone you're in, Bill. I woke at 6:35. I'm not sure what that is in the American time zone compared to 214.6 ;)

If you use the Keto approach, keeping sodium down is not really needed, in fact, you need to add it. http://www.reddit.com/r/keto/wiki/faq The Keto approach has worked very well for me.
