Happy 😃 happy 😊 Friday….

Yesterdays ride in France in zwift…felt good to pedal …

Visit to eye doctor…nothing has gotten worse…about the same..guess fasting and picking the best food has helped to keep the macular degeneration from getting worse…I did ask him if it was reversible like diabetes he said he didn’t think so….but I think he’s surprised that it’s seemed to be the sane for several visits…he’s a big guy…but noticed I had lost weight..asked how and how much…he mentioned the keto diet…I told him eating shoe leather would work…if he was consistent…he laughed…next visit in Jan…when it’s cold….

Todays plan the same..ride and move…do my best on food choices…

I did have half a cookie dough blizzard yesterday….mmmmmm….still good….lol….other half in freezer….trying to help the loss gain..and it has…o well….that’s life….

Have a fantastic positive day…

Nice ride Mike! I got 7 miles into my 20 minutes this morning! Of course I'm not climbing hills, maybe that will come later, after I get this eye surgery paid off I may invest in a newer more versatile bike!

Not really about how far you go..it’s about the intensity of the ride…and enjoying the ride..not being sore…anytime your sore the next day..to hard of a workout…

LOL, I know my butt was sore from the seat for the first week! I have not had any tenderness in my lower body, but because the handlebars pump back and forth in tandem with the pedals my upper arms had a bit of tenderness, nothing hurt, but I could feel the workout in them.

As long as you ride..those muscles are happy…quit riding..you have to retrain them after 2-4 weeks..just a reminder….lol

I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would, I put my xm 70's on 7 playing on Alexa, set a timer for 20 minutes and just pedal away, I close my eyes and get lost in the music of my childhood. The timer beeps and I come back to the now and see I have covered quite a distance and I'm sweaty and my heart rate is up to 125 or so. I am pleased :)

I use to listen to music..but realized I could be learning from podcasts while I was riding…so started doing that instead….just put on headphones..start riding..when ride is over…continue with something else to Podcast is over…..I’d rather learn…or relearn…lol…

LOL I may try that, my hubby said to me today, "If you are not learning something new, you need to check your pulse because you are probably dead" He's a very wise man!

In a movie with Jack nickleson and Morgan freeman the line was if your not learning..your dying inside…
