Weekend eating was a bit on the heavy side. BBQ both Saturday and Sundays.

Our friends insist to have starter, main, pudding And a cheeseboard. I made the starter, all in tiny dishes: broadbeans with chorizo, peas with bacon and courgette with lemon and basil. All the veg were from my garden. Proud to day it went down a treat. And since Lyn had gone through the effort of making a dairy free dessert I felt kind of obliged to have some. At least I could say no to the cheese :)

Sunday it was just me and LB. We didn't have a lot, but come monday morning I was uncomfortable bloated. But just fruit sorted it out reseonably soon. Come to think of it I had nothing cooked or any meat yesterday. As it made me feel so good I am doing a repeat today. Just lots and lots of ripe fruit til dinner time when I will have beans and tatties from the garden :). Vegan might just be the way for me.
