Draglist's Journal, 11 May 15

OK, ten more pounds of water as we feasted every day this weekend. My daughter Emily graduated from college on Friday night and every day was a celebration. But from the highest highs to the lowest lows... My brother Tim passed away yesterday morning and I have a house full of siblings, so probably will not be as successful with recovery this week, but will give it a helluva shot. Will post weight details later, but have to go out and do some arrangements.

Sorry for your loss Bill. Keep going on the weightloss and don't give up. I'm sure your brother was proud of you. I know your followers on here are. Do it in his memory. You are a model for us all to follow. We'll be praying for you and your family.

When life yo-yo's, it's hard to not eat whatever is sitting on the table, whenever it is available, whether we're hungry or not. I'm happy for your daughter, and sad for your family's loss of your brother. While the timing may seem weird, sometimes a run will help beat out the sadness in your heart and head.

Bill I am so sorry to hear about your brother ... I saw your post today and thought .. what funeral? So I had to go back and read since I was a bit behind over the weekend into yesterday. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family! I wish for you courage as you grieve and strength to deal with all the necessary things one needs to do to arrange a funeral.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost my middle child (a son and father of my only grandchild, whose name happens to be Emily!) in 2009 and I know how hard it is to lose someone you love. Congratulations on your daughter Em's graduation, and I am so glad she is home to help lighten your grief with the joy of her presence.
