Nicholaix - Thanks - but no more coddling needed. He is home cooking dinner. Says he needs something to do so he doesn't go nuts. Last I heard he had brined a chicken and was searching for rosemary for his rub.

Dang ... he sounds like a great cook! I am so glad he is okay now. I know he feels a lot better too. Thanks for the update and I know you can get back on track again now that he is all sorted out.

DH sounds like a strong character, who gets on with life. More power to his cooking elbow! Long may it continue. 2lbs is nothing, you can fluctuate up to 5 - 6 lbs over a few days naturally, water retention amongst other factors. Being healthy is more important! In these situations, don't weigh yourself, give yourself time to settle back into normal routine. Really pleased you and yours are home and safe

Continuing best wishes and prayers for you and DH...ty for all of your encouragement.
(response 2 ur recent comment: I would have "frozen off" a LOT more than one pound if I could have withstood being outside more than couple mins at a time :)
