The feral cat, my porch kitty hasn't been coming for meals as much as before. I'm hoping she isn't feral but maybe has a home of some kind. She usually shows up in the morning for breakfast though. I was up around 5 and checked the porch to see if she was there. She wasn't but there was a raccoon trying to figure out how to get over the gate. I haven't seen a raccoon for 4 or 5 years. Get a skunk almost every night looking for bird seed and a fox once in awhile. Kitty is pretty smart, stays away when the wildlife is around.
I was going to make a meatloaf today. I made one a couple weeks ago, the first time in several years and it was really good. I had put a can of garbanzo beans in the pyrex dish with the meatloaf and they were pretty tasty. Today I realized I had no garbanzo beans so I didn't make the meatloaf. Will pick up some beans at the grocery store tomorrow. I try to follow IF, I usually eat from around 6am and stop at 2pm, sometimes earlier. After NOT making the meatloaf (does that make sense?) I realized I wasn't hungry so skipped my last meal of the day. I have been making my version of an egg McMuffin for the past 3 days. That was breakfast today. Other than that I had my usual "snacks" that I eat most days to get my protein grams up. String cheese and raw almonds, and a glass of fat free milk. It's after 5pm and I am still not hungry. The prescription Ibuprofen that I take for my back pain upsets my stomach unless I take it with food. So I will probably have a couple of saltine crackers before I go to bed. Tomorrow is my 3rd physical therapy appointment for the back pain and sciatic nerve pain. I think the pain medicine helps more than anything. Without it I can't sleep because of the pain in my thigh and calf.
