Weight 221.5 this morning, a pound down from yesterday. I was over a little in my RDI yesterday but not by much. 16:8 fast again today, official weigh in for the week tomorrow morning.

Your doing a great job. I would love to do the 16:8 fasting but too many obstacles. I spend a half hour just checking my sugar and blood pressure (3 readings 5 min apart for accuracy) and I have a habit of getting up 3/4 in the morning, watch the news, fall back to sleep and wake up around 9AM. Dinner is never at the same time because of my daughters work schedule. I think I have to get back to setting alarm and get myself up at the same time every day and make sure I eat dinner before 6 PM. Then I can do a modified version of 14:10. Friday is my official scale day too.

Chillie - I'm no expert in I.F. but I think you can start getting some benefit from the fasting after 10 to 12 hours so if you can't do 16 it still might be worth it, 14 would have benefit I would think. Sometimes I give in and eat something before a full 16 hours, sometimes I go longer, all I know is that it definitely is assisting me in losing weight. I'm saying NO to birthday cake and goodies in our coffee room today, I swear somebody here is out to sabotage me.

Thanks Jmb, will work on that. Working in an office atmosphere for most of my career I can relate to the Birthday cake and goodies. I think at least 2 times a week we would come up with a reason for either donuts (we had a dunkin donuts on site) or bagels (real calorie killers). Good luck avoiding the goodies.
