There are so many comments on here (and elsewhere too) about the benefits of not weighing in every day. I understand the reasoning but it’s just not working for me. I keep eating too much and the wrong things, thinking “I will get back on track and *then* I will weigh in again.” Meanwhile my intake amounts and macros are completely out of control. Back to daily weigh-ins - and accountability- tomorrow morning.

You can do it!

I have weighed in every day for years. When we go to Texas in the winter and I don't have access to a scale I worry every day if I'm maintaining like I should. For me the accountability is crucial.

I weigh in everyday too. It’s good for accountability and it also desensitizes you to the weight fluctuations that happen all the time.

You can do it. Don't beat yourself up. I don't weigh in everyday, but you have to do what's best for you.

I weight in everyday but only record once a week maybe you could try that, I do it because I have congestive heart failure and have to watch my water weight but it keeps me on track.

Weighing in every day is very important to me. It helps me stay accountable. I weigh myself before my first sip of coffee every day. Then I know if I'm on track or not. When I gain weight, I know that the day before I ate too many carbs or fats, and I can correct that very quickly.

I don’t weigh in everyday, simply because weight can fluctuate within’ the day bc of bloating, bowels, and even simply eating carbs or fats.

What you may find helpful as wright can fluctuate every day is to write down you weight everyday. You then add up all 7 days and then divide by 7. This will give you a better idea of your weight loss every week.

I enjoy daily weigh in. It has taught me patience, how to adjust things if need be, and that it is just a number and will fluctuate. It doesn't reflect who I am inside only I can say who that is. On this journey for health, peace and love daily 🙏✌️💗. You are a wonderful inspiration Grammalaura

There is nothing wrong with weigh in everyday. however, you should only do this if you understand how our bodies work. Someone here already mentioned that water weight, bloating and bowel are the major reasons you will weight more in the mornings. Depending on what you eat, what you drink, salt intake and type of exercises can show a false result. I would stick to weigh in every 2 to 3 days.
