Draglist's Journal, 06 Jun 14

Morning weigh in at 203.8. Out of food in the house so it's going to be two or three Greek yogurts for breakfast and lunch at work today. Weight lifting tonight, followed by 16:8 fast, my Saturday treadmill, and then the weekly weigh in. Hoping for good news. Still iffy on this 2160 calories per day thing but sticking with it for at least this week. Sure seems like a lot!

One thing I know about you, if 2160 isn't what works you will adjust until you find what works. Here's hoping the scale is kind to you at your weigh in.

Just an FYI, your body without any exercise typically burns around 2000-2200 calories a day (hence why nutritional facts are based off of 2000 calories). So to support healthy weight loss you have to take in enough calories to give you the actual energy to get your metabolism burning otherwise your body will just store those calories as fat...that's probably why it gave you 2160...mine says 2050 which I also think is high...if you knocked out your exercise it'd probably give you a much lower number...healthy calories=energy, just remember that! You're doing great! :)

Great job, Bill!!!! We've been buddies for awhile now and I've known you've lost a lot of weight and have been doing so good. But, it really hit me this morning when I actually looked at your weight history. Wowzers!! How exciting! You are amazing and look fabulous! If you ever get discouraged (or if I anyone else does) just look at that and see what you can accomplish. Impressive! 👏👏👏👏
