Got knockout rose on the left as sympathy in lieu of flowers and the little rose on the right we’ve been trying to nurse back since Valentine’s Day. They both stare longingly outside waiting to join everything else. After this week they’re getting planted

I've read Knock Out roses are one, if not thee best and easiest rose to grow. Sorry about the reason you were gifted the Knock Out. I recently purchased a New Dawn climber to replace an Iceberg climber that didn't make it. You must be in a cold hardiness zone to hard to wait to plant. Hope you're able to share these roses with us when they start showing their blooms.🌹

In lieu of flowers? Aren’t roses 🌹 flowers? 😂

Sweet! We will watch your talents now as Becky says that is the easiest to grow.😁 So nice of you to let it look out the window to its future home. 👍🌺

Thanks DL dunno about our nursery skills - we try😁. And thanks cc, yes knockouts are incredibly hardy and resilient and will give blooms constantly. The little one is a regular rose bush and will need a lot of sun, care, and feeding. I’m not familiar w iceberg climbers. Will have to look that up. Hope to have pictures when we get them in the ground and they bloom. 👍

Certainly lamb roses are flowers. Should have said in lieu of a bouquet. And shrewd I need the easiest thing to grow - no green thumb here. We try.

I'm w/Lonniehuffman: Luv to luv roses & scents too. If I had a yard like that....I would be longing to be out there all the time too. Beautiful environment. Great for meditating like I think I've mentioned b4. I luv the forest atmosphere your yard has. Stay blessed in your paradise. O:-)

I know nothing about growing roses except that they use them here on medians and other public spaces and whatever variety they are, they are already blooming like crazy and will continue to do so all summer. I was unaware that you had suffered a recent loss, my condolences to you and your family.

Thank you Shir. It’s been tough. Didn’t really mean for that to come up. We lost my 18 month old niece - she passed away over a week ago during the night. We were very close to her and are extremely close to my brother and sister in law. They are devastated
