Had a fun night out after a great early weigh in. Went to Medieval Madness in Alexandria, Virginia. It is super fun. You sit in a great hall as part of the King's Court and 'wenches' bring your food and drink. There is singing, dancing, sword fighting, and audience participation. Great food and drink! Of course we ate too much but it was a great time out with friends. Will get back to work tomorrow and eat light for the remainder of the month.

I've always wanted to do that. And it isn't far from home. I just haven't been able to talk DH & DS into going yet. Sounds like fun.

Funny Coincidence. Yesterday was my Daughter's birthday and she & I and my wife and granddaughter spent the day at the Sherwood Forest Faire, which is a Renaissance/Celtic Festival. We all got to wear our renaissance costumes (yes we all HAVE renaissance costumes...lol)and had a wonderful time. Certainly indulged myself, but I had planned for it in advance by under-eating during the week leading up and by doing a 9-mile hike with a 60lb load in the morning before we went to the festival. That way I still stayed within my goals for the week and actually had a 6,591 calorie deficit for the week.
