🙋‍♀️Welcome to Motivational Monday! Today, I am quitting dieting. 😂LOL okay, I am just working on getting rid of my diet mindset, the restrict/reward binge cycle, and no more search for that just right perfect magical formula of whatever to suddenly lose the excess weight. I am just eating basic healthy foods, still tracking, just not obsessive.🥗🍎

I'm tired of the well-intentioned people in my life (and strangers) giving me endless (never asked for) diet advice. I have been judged and shamed my entire life for eating, to the point I am afraid to eat in front of people. After listening to a podcast* suggested by obesity doc, I suddenly felt stronger. I had pasta for lunch today! 🍝I enjoyed it! It's been years I've had that experience!🥳

Bottom line: Do you! Be proud! I support any healthy dietary choice.💟 Do whatever makes you feel your best! I'm done with feeling ashamed. I've been thru bulimia, compulsive overeating, starvation, fad diets, excessive workouts, naturopaths, binge eating disorder, therapy & specialists. I just need to focus on this post-menopausal body. Goodbye diet books!📚

I am starting to get obsessed about my weight..sometimes reading the posts gets to me...I tend to have a obsessive compulsive nature about most things...I am on a low carb diet,about 20 grams a day and I saw I was getting a little too weird with carbs-couldnt decide if I should have .50 cup of chicken noodle soup..so I have to wean myself away from counting the carbs so I dont go to extreme...enuff said!

Really like this post. I know how frustrating it all is, some days I think.. I will never not think about my weight, it’s truly been an obsession. My relationship with food is complicated like most of us who struggle.. I fully support you wanting to embrace a healthier overall perspective and do what’s best for YOU! No one knows you better than you and what you need. ❤️
