🙋♀️Welcome to Motivational Monday! Today, I am quitting dieting. 😂LOL okay, I am just working on getting rid of my diet mindset, the restrict/reward binge cycle, and no more search for that just right perfect magical formula of whatever to suddenly lose the excess weight. I am just eating basic healthy foods, still tracking, just not obsessive.🥗🍎
I'm tired of the well-intentioned people in my life (and strangers) giving me endless (never asked for) diet advice. I have been judged and shamed my entire life for eating, to the point I am afraid to eat in front of people. After listening to a podcast* suggested by obesity doc, I suddenly felt stronger. I had pasta for lunch today! 🍝I enjoyed it! It's been years I've had that experience!🥳
Bottom line: Do you! Be proud! I support any healthy dietary choice.💟 Do whatever makes you feel your best! I'm done with feeling ashamed. I've been thru bulimia, compulsive overeating, starvation, fad diets, excessive workouts, naturopaths, binge eating disorder, therapy & specialists. I just need to focus on this post-menopausal body. Goodbye diet books!📚
