My workout and a different kind of before and after. The first one is me at 175 pounds from July 4th of this year. The second it me from the end of my bulk at 214 pounds from 3-4 days ago. A 39 pound gain. Sounds crazy. Somehow I am still wearing the same size jeans though they are tighter. Anyway, since Tuesday I am down to 207 and will see how I am looking at 195 to decide if I want to maintain there or keep cutting. I am in no hurry to get abs during the winter months, haha!

It's cool to see this because in my eyes I don't look any bigger until I see a side by side. I get more comments now than I did when I was more ripped. I think people are more comfortable with commenting on size than on striations lol.

I like the bigger arms but not bigger waist...It's a trade off. 195 will probably look good. I'd like to weigh 20 pounds less than you or more. :P

Awesome work, D!! For just five months, this transformation is beyond impressive. Very cool to see this side by side.

Thanks, DP and NNWD! Progress pics are so important. I know I looked better in July, especially the face but I think I added some muscle to hopefully be as cut as I am in the before shot but 5-10 pounds heavier at least. :)

Interesting process. Does this work for women like men? I think if I gained this amount of weight I’d be back where I started. Unless, I kept lifting all the time like I do now. Before the weight was not muscle, believe me!! 😑

Yes, most bodybuilders regardless of gender do cuts and bulks. 39 pounds is a little much but it's also a smaller percentage for me than it would be for you. Also, if you're happy with your weight, you would simply eat at maintenance so there would be no gain, just a recomposition of tissue.

Is that the way I should go in the new year? Start maintaining for real? Pretty happy where I am. Like to see 130 on the scale but might take a year. 😂😂

You look great any which way. You put in such a massive amount of work!

Thanks, Melissa! Glad I did or the almost 40 pounds would have been 100% fat lol.

Yet another casual beast mode pic. Who is that masked man?! 😂👊🏻🙌🏻

IMPO (not that it matters in the least), while you look fantastic in both, I like the second one, though 195ish would probably be better. Your body fat percentage must have been extremely low in the first one, and I know zilch about body building, but even though you look very muscular, to me you look a bit starved. I hope my comments don't offend you and if they do, just tell me to bug off. 😬

Thanks Jheeden! Yes, I can see that Shirfleur. No offense taken at all, I like the input.

David’s a good dude and professional. Very kind - you too, Shirf. We just need more of that in our world. Respect others and follow the law and order of a civil society, which has nothing to do with this thread. Sorry! Sincerely appreciate both of you!
