Draglist's Journal, 16 Aug 20

Woke at 233.5, up .7 from yesterday. High protein macros and workouts seem to be inching me up in lean body mass, but also in body fat. I am trying to do a mini cut for the second half of the month but still retain the protein macro of 180 grams a day. There is a way to do it, but there is not a lot of room for error (unless I go much closer to carnivore). Still working it. UPDATE: At 4 pm, I hopped on the exercise bike for 20 minutes of HIIT followed by 10 more minutes of simple cardio. Hopped in the pool and showered and got to 231.7. Broke the fast with Italian sausage and peppers on low carb wraps plus 9 ounces of tuna in water (same essential dinner as light night). Got to my 180 grams of protein for under 1600 calories today. That's a win.

Quite interesting. Maybe some people have an easier time of boosting metabolism with the high protein but not all...

That’s a lot of protein. I use to go high protein. Wonder if that would be more effective than what I’m doing right now.
