Let the Rebel Creamery taste tests begin! This was "The Maverick" case of 8 pints of low carb ice cream. Took two teaspoons of each to taste them. I left them out for 15 minutes before eating them (as recommended), but I found them even more creamy and better at 30 minutes. I did not microwave them. Overall, some were more creamy than others. The ones that were the creamiest were what you might imagine being a semi-frozen cheesecake consistency. Not bad, but a little different. Others never really got creamy and came out in sort of flakes. They tasted good, but the consistency was not there. Those flavors might have needed a little microwave assistance. The results: Cookies & Cream - super. Great taste. Small chocolate chunks. Salted Caramel - Creamy and good. Maybe a little lighter in caramel than some may want. Black Raspberry - awesome. Robust flavor. Close to regular. Triple Chocolate - I'm a chocolate fan and this was great. Not as creamy as the most creamy flavor but not as flaky as some. Cherry Chip - very good and creamy. The cherry flavor is a bit tart. Coconut Almond Swirl - creamy and good. Denise said it tasted like a Mounds bar. (I say, "almost"). Peanut Butter Fudge -- this one was somewhat flaky and was pretty light in taste. I love PB & Chocolate and I think the Halo Top version is better. Vanilla - This one needed to be perfect without additional flavors, but it ended up being the flakiest consistency. All tasted good, though. And at 2 net carbs per serving (a quarter of a pint), how can you go wrong? A case of 8 is $52 at Rebel Creamery. I'm guessing there is shipping. I got the case from amazon.com at $63 with free Prime shipping. Enjoy!
