Trying to keep busy so I won't start cooking and eating even more. Still within my calories for today but carbs are so over my self imposed limit. DD brought over fruit, sweet potatoes, milk, grilled Italian sausages, and broiled salmon. She also brought over a loaf of Applesauce bread from the local bakery. Of course I tried a slice. Well, tasted wonderful but it's a really sweet cake :) Froze the rest. Love that she is looking out for me. No complaints here, just facts. Working hard on portion control. She will probably bring more care packages while I'm staying home so I'll just try to keep a calorie deficit even if the my carbs are high.

Yes, she is wonderful. DD is so good to me.She also brought extra pet food, cat litter, etc to make sure my whole household is taken care of. I didn't ask for anything except otc allergy meds when the allergies got really tough with the pollen. My other two children live so far away and it seems even further now. :)).

I find it very helpful to go out and WALK after most meals— just 20-30 minutes will do it. It really helps burn off some of those carbs you just ate. I know some folks live in the arctic tundra but short of that it’s doable for most. Walking also makes it doable To maintain a recommended social distance while still having human contact. We just do 2-6 of us at a time and shift positions around so we get a chance to have conversation with everyone. We don’t drive to the hiking destination together— separate cars and we each bring a snack or lunch to eat when we are done. We can do this.

Yes, Kenna, that does work for some people. Awesome you walk with people. I do my weights, indoor bike and several low impact exercises, such as squats. I am very careful with carbs and I pay attention to fiber. One slice doesn't mean eating the whole loaf. :) whole thing. :).

I'm addicted to YouTube videos and I've been burning more calories than at the gym.
