Day 12
I got out of my routine and went to my brother's art exhibit in Boston! There was supposed to be wine and cheese - there was wine but no cheese just hummus! So I had hummus, baba ganoush and pita bread for dinner and not a lot, because I was talking with my brother and the two other people who came to see the show! Show is used loosely - he had 5 pictures that he had painted and the show was in an optician's store! Lol! I got new glasses and new sunglasses while I was there! The place is well-known for providing glasses to local rock bands, so they are way cool. I figure I'll have an updated look even if I am not really a rock star!
Had a good time! No work tonight. I just read this quote by Andy Warhol: "They always say that ime changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself." - yes I agree!
Lots of changes - I am going to see my daughter in her first COLLEGE marching band performance! She is having a great time and I am having a decent time with her gone. Today was actually my first day with both girls gone and it wasn't bad - I will have a long weekend and have some fun without having to think about what the girls are doing, also knowing that they are really doing what they want to do.
