So glad the family is okay. What an awful occurrence. 🙏

I'm so sorry. My early childhood home burned down too (years ago) and it is a strange feeling. The most important thing is: everyone is okay? Your family can't be replaced! Hugs, prayers, and love sent your way. XOXO

It’s so heavy because it’s the house my mom and dad has in Upstate Ny and they divorced. It is the home I grew up in and with visitation and the home he last saw before passing of cancer 9/11/2014😔 So thankful the new homeowners are safe🙌 Their doggies woke them up. It is sad because they are expecting and had just set up the nursery and everything is gone. I don’t know this family, but I’m going to keep them in my prayers 🙏🙏♥️♥️💜💚

Keep this in perspective. It is just a house and can be replaced. Everyone is alive. Don’t let this distract you from your own goal.

Prayers and good wishes all around tonight, for you and for them. Like Kenna said, things can be replaced. People can't be. I know this is a loss for you... sending hugs!

@jcmama777, that is so sad, and especially just before Christmas! My feeling is that the community will come through for the new owners who are expecting, and the baby will come home to a fully stocked and decorated nursery. [I remember the first time I went down my "old street" in Buffalo (WNY but "upstate" to New York City folks) to find that my childhood home had been torn down. I was sure that, if I excavated the empty lot, I'd find bits of my ballerina wallpaper! I know exactly how you feel!]

Oh honey, I’m so sorry to read this. Must be heavy for sure. But at least the new owners are ok. And you’re ok, you will be ok!!!! Just another hit to make you even more stronger. Have a good day and s very merry Christmas with those you love most! 🎁 🎄 ❤️

I'm so sorry Jc. It's hard to know that the house you grew up in doesn't exist anymore. I felt the same way when I found my old home torn down. I'm glad nobody was hurt. xoxo

Loss by fire is devastating. You are ok, the people who were there are ok - hang in there and I hope you can find some comfort with your family remembering all the fun in your childhood home.
