Fritzy 22's Journal, 20 Dec 19

I set up a challenge for The Daniel Fast to begin January 2. The computer got stuck so I don't know if invitations were sent out. They should have gone to people I follow. I know this fast won't work for those of you on Keto, but should be a big help for those of us with gallbladder issues or inflammation. I also wasn't able to get a picture downloaded - wanted to show fruits, vegetable and nuts. Any suggestions, I think I can still edit.

Hey, you! Thanks for the invitation. The links took me directly to the beautiful pictures, etc. (The grains, beans, legumes, and most fruits won't work with my LCHF/keto/carni style, but I wanted you to know that your invitation came through just fine!)

Thanks Eva! There are 3 of us so far! Mira - I understand. So many people are doing Keto and most people want to be able to eat meat. But this will work for those of us trying to do a plant based diet or anti inflammation diet or like me, with gallbladder issues.

I can live without coffee, but dropping tea sounds almost impossible! I may try drinking non-caffeinated herbal teas, though. I think I can stand that for a few weeks.

The challenge makes it easy not to have to do 100%. There are mini challenges and one is "drink water as only beverage". If you have tea or coffee you can just put that you didn't meet that challenge on that day. I'm considering having an occasional apple juice. It's 100% juice with no added sugar, but doesn't really meet the guidelines of the fast. But apple juice might be good for my gallstones. So 5 of us so far.
