abbadabba's Journal, 21 Nov 19

I made a huge mistake the other day. I asked my coworker who is my height how much she weighs and she is at my goal weight. She is tiny. I will never get there, that is what I currently believe. Still logging, still eating what I have prepped, feeling like I will never get there.
But then I get on fatsecret and you all are just plugging away. Down 40, 50, 80 pounds. At goal and still logging. I don't think I can do it but I am so sick of being fat I have to keep going because there really isn't any other way to do it.
Winter setting in doesn't help. I worry about snow and alot of other winter things, and now I think I have found a rowhouse I could retire in but that means selling my current house and also putting a lot of work into the new place. Argh.
Today I tried to eat a piece of cake and it was awful. My coworkers all said "throw it out if you don't like it!" so after two bites I threw the rest away.
Whining will continue I know. I have a long way to get to where I can even think of being done losing weight.
Hang in there!

i read if you concentrate on the big end goal you will never make it! Break it up into smaller goals that are more realistic and go for those! These are just as satisfying and will get you to your end goal! I been told for years I was at risk for diabetes but ignored it till my A1C got to a pre-diabetes number, then I got scared. Since June I finally made the changes & gave up everything white which has been diet all my life! I’m down 21 lbs and really making this a lifetime change. Believe me if you knew me this is life changing! Having said that if I can do it so can you! Rooting for you, don’t give up!

What a great nsv to have the self control to not eat something you don’t even like❣️ Rome wasn’t built in a day and you didn’t get fat overnight. With more and more nsvs you will chisel away the fat to reveal the body you’re meant to have. Nothing drastic just boring slow progress and you will get there.💕💕💕 Stay strong 💪🏻

You got this. We got your back! And way to go, I didn't manage the seduction a pc of cake so big and yet... I finished it. Bagels are tempters. In My House, hubby won't hide em from me. How rude LOL. Keep the faith and prayers your way!

"We can do it!". I'm sure you already feel physically better just with 20# gone. I do with just #38 gone. I have to lose literally half my body weight. WAY too stressfull to think about. My next goal is to get and stay below 260 (so close!!) then try hard for below 250 before Christmas. etc, etc. You are already exhibiting good (better) habits by throwing away the cake. Reward yourself with non-food items. Lose 5#=get a pedicure, Lose 10# get a new pair of shoes. Can't go see the new Frozen II movie until you eat under your calories/carb count for 5 days straight. You got this and we got your back!

You’re doing great! It’s hard to figure that you can look like your goal until you reach it. I couldn’t remember what is felt like to be at a healthy weight, have muscle, eat right. I’m still getting used to where I’m at and I want to look even better. Hang in there! It takes time. Keep a calorie deficit, develop sustainable healthy behaviors and choices.

it can certainly be frustrating at times but really, as everyone has said, you are doing great. one ounce, one pound, one day at a time. absolutely, you can do it, you're doing it ... be kind to yourself and have fun on the journey.

okay, I am still telling myself. my family and now you; NEVER compare yourself to others. you are an individual - different than anyone else. God made you.

I needed this😭😭 Too days in a row more than 100 g of carbs when I was supposed to lose 5 kg this week. My other habit-change isn't working. I'm behind schedule and my self-loathing is peeking. Girls effortlessly have killer bods and I'm a blob of fat.

Never compare yourself to someone else. We all are different. Each one of us is special. I read your bio and how your choosing to work your new lifestyle is good but honestly hunny, I think your calories should be higher at. I'm 5'7 and 62 but I'm sure you are way more active than I am that's why I started at 1200 a day. Maybe look at that. Get advice from physician on calories and nutrition. You got this.
