Very tasty! I needed something, feel like I've been living off of protein bars and cookies the last couple of days. Well, fruit is always eaten but still. Some outside departments have been bringing us goodies because of 9/11.

I feel bad- I haven't cooked a meal in days and days. :( I need more time for work, gym, and cooking. I'll have to start doing some crock pot stuff soon. Sorry- I'll make dinner tonight- maybe- we'll see how it goes. 🤷🏻‍♀️😁💗

Days and days?? As a daily cook, I’m just curious about what you eat if you don’t cook?? Eat out? Order in?

When I don't cook I eat snacks, loaded with calories, so I better cook, but I know it's hard to take care of chores when you have to work.

But, hey I don't cook fancy meals.

I cook for myself- Isn't that even more sad? I drive home from work (to the gym actually)- usually eat something on my way to the gym for energy. After the gym- egg beaters, cottage cheese, protein shake. Youngest eats at my mom's after school. Oldest- I am failing completely- its like sandwich and chips every night, By the time I get home from the gym it is 6:30 or 7 and they are hungry after school. I know- lots of excuses. Just grab and go stuff.

Aren’t you both on opposite schedules as well? Hey, I have seen you cook and make salmon 🤗❤️ The fall and winter are perfect for crockpot meals and it makes life easier 😊😊

We live on crockpot meals and I cook 6 out of 7 days. Sundays are sacred. Supper every Sunday with the family, though the oldest is away at college. But she came home this morning for a quick laundry and rest run. She’s sick 😕

jheeden, I’m sorry she is sick🙁 bet it’s always great to see her, even in short visits. Family is everything.

Yeah- I've gotta get something figured out. Oh well. Weekends I end up cooking them breakfast lunch and dinner like a good mom- its the mon-fri that is hard. We aren't really opposite schedules. It works out well with him on 3rds because we both get the bed to ourselves and he's waking up when I am getting home so its as if we both worked 1st shift- meet at the gym, ignore the children, and repeat. LOL

DP😂❤️ You’re a good mom. Weekends are easier👍🤗 listen, idk what goes on on Tuesday and Thursday with kids and hubby 😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s typically frozen pizza or nuggs and chicken patty 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️ As long as they eat

Dp, I’ve been there. Years back my hubby did nights too, and I worked days. It was tough but man, I always cooked. I have to eat. Never been a fan of fast food. I do eat it but not often. Like today, had a whopper, my favorite burger in the fast food realm. But might not have another for weeks. I love making homemade burgers for the grill instead. My cooking is not always fancy but it’s tastes and nutritious. 😉
