Pretty sure I felt ‘the pump’ tonight. Went up 5# on curls and when done it looked like I was flexing when I wasn’t. Didn’t feel really great however. My body was flushed red which I haven’t really seen on myself before. You could see the veins in my arms better. Pretty sure my muscles just aren’t big enough yet to get a ‘real pump’ but the ‘baby pump’ was okay :). . . At the end of the workout I did some cable rows. My goal was to see what weights felt like 90# did a few weeks ago before we started Michael Matthews Thinner Leaner Stronger workout. Any guesses? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 120! . We’re you close? 90 was okay, 105 wasn’t too bad but 120 was where it hurt and I struggled to do 3 reps.

Thanks everyone! Yes 120 is a big improvement. I can’t do many of them, just like I couldn’t do many of the 90#, and it’s close to my 1rm if I had to guess. I think doing a super heavy set every now and then helps I think. The stance/pose is because I see a lot of men do this 😉. I’m not so good at the flexing haha. I just tightened the body like I wanted to be a board and snapped it. The right arm had more pump than the left. I should’ve tried to flex more but was going for the pump look to show what I was feeling. I could feel it more in the right than left too for some reason. Just felt the blood flow more I guess if that makes sense. I’ve got a long way to go to look like some of you ladies on here but I’m happy with my progress so far! Thanks again!
