The mind set of my approach
I returned on Saturday from vacation and got back on the site..
I was excited about my different approach lately and how I had planned to enjoy my vacation but not over indulge...
caloric intake I kept it down … I had loss a few pounds and my inches have decreased too....

My new approach of thinking and Im now taking it more as a mind set for me...
we are hear it is a lifestyle...not a quick fix ….
Ive been in thought more this time around and Ive been researching more on this attitude and learning different approaches to this subject.

That being said I followed this approach during my vacation and during Easter Sunday...
there was all kinds of goodies...I don't limit myself now to eating something I really want but if I did decide to eat it... I will just keep my calorie intake lower that day...
I actually didn't have Easter candy or any sweets...
I enjoyed 2 Easter eggs the boiled kind ..not the candy kind lol... and enjoyed the Easter ham and and I made me a wonderful salad...

I allow myself permission to not worry over what I eat (guilty feelings result in my over indulging) but I just rather have the complete knowledge of the macros and then I think to myself before indulging is this what I really want...
funny when you know the calories of individual food items...well its not as appealing to eat sometime lol

Im now down a little more....and I usually don't weigh myself but on a monthly basis but I was very curious to my new approach on my way of thinking and if its working...it is....

May everyone have a positive and enjoyable week this week...;)

It's an interesting swing going from over indulgence to harsh restriction and then just finding and acceptable balance indeed. Without the guilt there's no need to punish. Wonderful you!

Eating should never involve guilt. Your weight loss choice needs to be a long term lifestyle change. With that you eat HEALTHIER and more MODERATELY most of the time, INDULGE once in a while and continue on. This is not CHEATING, this is living Increase your overall activity, work to tone and build muscles. No Hail Marys or confession required, no guilt required. Apparently many people here cannot do that, but for those who can, it will set you free.
