Here's why my numbers might be off a bit today! Couldn't eat or drink ANYTHING before the peridontist appointment this morning. When I got home around noon, I had a cup of tea with THREE Tbsp of Heavy Cream in it (to cool it to lukewarm). I also had a whole can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup (with no water added), and a Creamsicle Fat Bomb Dessert Cup (to try to get in some fats). Then, I laid down with the ice pack. When I woke up a couple hours later (at 2pm), the anesthesia had work off and I was in a LOT of pain! I took another pain pill, which helped for about an hour (maybe an hour and a half). That means that, for the past two solid hours, I've been in severe pain, and I can't take a pill for another 15 minutes. My husband is heating up an Atkins Meatloaf dinner for me, and I'm WAS going to indulge in about 1/4-1/3 cup of mashed potatoes with that - until I put it into my Food Diary and saw that it was going to make me go more than 8g over on my Net Carbs. I can't have anything really hot, or really cold, and I can't eat anything that is hard to chew. After this dinner, I'm gonna take that pain pill and go back to SLEEP until the pain wakes me up again. My NET Carbs will still be under 30g, my Fats will be at 69%, but I'm not going to force-feed in any additional Fiber. Calories for the day are under 1,000 (my "normal" RDI is 1700) I'm praying this pain will have subsided significantly by tomorrow, as it really makes me want to indulge in things I shouldn't. (PS., the eye tooth they removed will eventually have an implant in it (within 4-11 months), but they gave me an "Essix Retainer" which has a FAKE tooth in it to be able to wear in public until then - even though I can't EAT with it in!) I praise the Lord for my twin friends, Jeannie and Joannie, who are PAYING for me to get all this dental work done!!! GOD IS GOOD!

meds taken 30 min early or 30 min late are considered on time. Just having a nasty oral surgery visit...I feel your pain. Feel better soon.

Thanks,e veryone, for your kind words and prayers. My mouth is a bit swollen this morning, but I didn't HAVE to take a pain pill during the night. I just ate a CarbMaster Yogurt (with some pecans) for breakfast. Even though I ate very mindfully, striving to keep any food away from the painful aIt is still hurting worse than it did when I first woke up. I might try some Tylenol or Advil before I reach for the Codeine! @melissaknight, to find the challenges (IF you are using the website - I don't know about on the crummy app), just go to www.fatsecret.com. From there, click on the tab across the top that says "Challenges." At the top of the new page that comes up, you'll see a green-shaded box that says "Challenge Search." Into that box, simply type "Daily Accountability 2019-#5." (The #4 challenge just began - #5 starts next Monday, February 4th.) We'd LOVE to have you with us! (We already have 11 people signed up for #5, and there are 56 in #4 - a record so far!) Just as a note, things are MUCH easier to find and to use on the website, rather than using the app!
