I am out of my favorite tea that I keep at work. I have three boxes of it at home, but thought I had enough at work to carry me through today. NO caffeine this morning... I can't wake up! I drink a double tea bag in an oversized mug every morning and it's astonishing to see how much I depend on it. For some reason my body is going into a carb crave and that will screw me up for the whole weekend, so I'm trying to just be cool and maintain. I want to go home and lay on the couch and binge-watch The Great British Baking Show.

Oh my gosh... I just found two tea bags just floating in my desk drawer. There is a God and He is merciful and good, LOL! I am almost teary. I need to break this caffeine addiction! This is the Sweet and Spicy tea from The Good Earth. It's so good and I don't need to add sugar.

caffeine is an appetite suppressor! Hang in there! Go rummage up some tea...beg your coworkers haha or steal some from the kitchen lol

Counter intuitive, but drink a big glass of water and do some cardio. It will pump you full of endorphins. Not a substitute, but it does help take the edge off.

Conicassity, that sounds like a good idea but I was stuck at my desk staring at the monitor all morning. Then I found out that the entire four hours I spent on the project was for nothing as management has put the job on hold for an undefined amount of time. I walked down to the corner for a taco salad, so that was my cardio :)

My caffeine of choice is tea, and even with that I have to balance caff with the decaf varieties. Too much caffeine and I get migraines. Never been a morning person. I always tell people not to tell me anything I need to remember before 10 or 11 am. I may appear to be awake before then... but looks are deceiving.

I just love that you walked for a salad! Yummmm! I just read your bio, I’m sorry to hear about your knees. I admire your soul searching and being honest about the correlation between the pain and the food. It took me a long time to figure it out.
