Still in ketosis ...GF on keto also goes by a meter reading for ketosis as I was at her home for a visit on Friday she had also questioned my being in ketosis so
she has 2 different types of testing meters.... I tested to appease her lol
one stated I was definitely in ketosis and of course the other stated I wasn't...
But my body after 3 weeks is in the state...
Im feeling great... full of energy... losing weight/ inches... fruity breath etc tells me Im on the right side of it....
I wont weigh again from last Monday until a month has passed
I try to focus on what Im feeling and looking and yep I don't trust a scale either lol
I measure ..when I began 3 weeks ago my waist was 32.5 Hips 39.75 thighs 22 so as of 4/1/2019
my waist is now 30.5 down (2 inches) hips 38. down (1.75) inches and thigh 20. down (2 inches)….DOWN.... ...yay!....
So the process is working on my body.... from my passed experience it takes time and you must go in with just trusting the process...it will work but I don't put a time limit on it...
Saturday was a higher carb day for me but I kept my calories moderately low and most foods were on plan except the sf French vanilla coffee I got when out shopping with hubby..
I hadn't checked the macros for it (mistake) and it was close to my daily allowances of 20 carbs for now... I just increased my fat intake and felt fine...still hydrating drinking all water... no soda...and of course my coffee too and working on my macros...
Need to still get my exercising strength training wts etc together not on a schedule yet.

Have the best weekend everyone
This is my 4 day off weekend... I get them every other weekend for working 16 hr shifts...love my long weekends... will be working on goals and setting them in place for a more uniformed plan to reach my goals....
Monday I will be on keto for 2 weeks so its time to really step up to the plate..drinking mostly water...some coffee..no soda lately macros are good.. energy great... exercise regimen needs to be in place...
its so pleasant to take time to relax and enjoy life in the quiet moments.... well
for now lol..
listening to some jazz and a enjoying a nice creamy cup of coffee...just relaxing for the moment..shopped this am and prepped some veggies.
Hubby will arrive soon and daughter will be out of her afternoon class...
Then its off and running ...so its me time for a few ..
Enjoy all your time ..quiet time ...family and friends time... every moment your blessed with for a life time.;)

Thoughtful Thursday
I was going to be more on the light side today... and of course speak on my plans towards my goals etc...and as I was thinking to myself in the early morning hours while preparing for another 16 hr. day a thought came over me over yesterdays post....
Then I began to focus on this post I had read yesterday and my own importance was minimalized over my plans …
"I have a family member who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer"
I had read....
Reread this post if your feeling discourage over any gain, not making the gym etc...
Yes ... Im must learn this lesson myself to keep myself on track so I understand but not so much we beat the crap out of ourselves and forget to really live.....
Please keep adefwebserver in our thoughts...your prayers
Life is so short my friends... live it to its fullest...a healthy way is good... but a happy.. positive... healthy way is an excellent way.
