Yum, fired up the BBQ tonight and cooked up some chicken breasts and grilled trout!! Still avoided buying chips and chocolate! I even grilled a russet potato for good measure and threw a few Parmesan petals inside, no butter. I had a large salad on the side. The chicken is for the next few days tossed in salads or with a rice/veg. salad. I also bought 100g/3 oz. servings of filet mignon, they're tiny, but they'll be a nice treat. Really watching my serving sizes with meat this week. And my veggies didn't freeze as they did last week.

Eating well the last 2 days, as in nutritiously, but still succumb to family size chocolate bars and chips every other day. Hoping for warmer weather to ride my bike and trying to eat at lunch to curb the dinner time hunger. I'm usually so busy at noon when I'm at work and don't like to eat in a rush, so I skip it. But now I notice my lunch hunger signals because I'm not rushing around, and have time to eat it enjoyably, and I'm bored. My challenging times have been late in the day, let's see if this helps. I hope everyone's well and mentally coping in such isolating times. It comes and goes with me, but overall not too bad. I miss people!!

Sitting here eating coleslaw cabbage mixed with wild rice and a very veggie filled spaghetti sauce. Once again I just caught my veggies freezing again so I had to quickly saute them and throw them in a sauce. The good news is that I remembered to buy hummus X 2 this week. The bad news, I no longer have fresh veggies to dip, lol! I'm looking forward to BBQ prime rib tomorrow, a first steak this season. I hope everyone is healthy, this virus got my nephew, but he didn't require hospitalization and he's recovering now. I'm grateful that I got on this bandwagon last year to better my health! Here's to us!

This is my actual weight. I haven't really lost any, I often have clothes on when I weigh myself. I know I've gained so I must have been at a lower weight the whole time, lol! My fridge is acting up by freezing my lettuce and other soft vegetables, and as I now buy once a week, it's a pain in the arse! On another note, I'm looking forward to using my bbq, to grill. So it all works out in the end. I miss moving around throughout the day. And my "regularity" is suffering. I'm starting to cook vegetable loaded curries and spaghetti sauces to use up all of my produce before it spoils. I hope everyone is well and adjusting. My bike chain is broken, and it frustrates me as I'd love to hit the streets, but I'll figure out a way this week. I see we're going to get some sun this week and I count on my sunny days so much!!! And my daily pleasures have been tending to my plants, almost over-watering everything from a bit too much attention, lol! Take Care friends, we'll do this.

I haven't been eating healthy, and it bugs me. I'm craving nutrition, but wait until I'm starving (too hungry) and then eat a big bag of chips. I have all of these dried and canned goods, and frozen fish/chicken - but I just haven't been bothered to cook and prepare. I'm owning it. I do have some fresh salmon and multigrain quinoa in the oven to last me a few days, so that's a start. I'm going to keep myself accountable by logging in my food choices this week. And my hips are sore from so much sitting. I get sore if I sit too much and I'm off work and I'm used to constant movement at work, so this is not sitting well with me. I just had a cleaning burst for 3 hours because I had to move, lol!!! But otherwise I'm on my laptop most of the day, and now zooming or teleconferencing, or doing online learning for my job. It's just the adjustment that's hard. I've gotta get my mojo on!! I hope everyone else is getting used to this new normal, we can do it!!!
