I am a 39-year-old (40 this year) medical coder. My highest weight was 482 lbs. I'm not proud of that, but I am proud of the 187 lbs I lost since 2011 (27 of which I have gained back in the last 9 months). Last year was a crazy year for me. I lost a friend and lost my mom. But I also met an amazing man who I intend to spend the rest of my life with. I had lost my focus with the life changes, but it's coming back, and I'm ready to lose some more of this excess weight!
