Hi there. I'm 34, a mom, a spouse, and I've been a business manager up until now. I'm currently changing jobs back to the social work field, which is both exciting and stressful. I'm using this change as a boost to get myself back in order, physically, financially, organizationally, etc.

I recently quit smoking, which was tough and caused some extra weight gain, but the excuse has run its course, and its time to take back off what I put on. At least now, my lungs will be a bit more forgiving.

My immediate goals are to complete the 60 day Insanity program, and get back to being the healthiest person possible. I'm also training myself to keep up with household stuff in 5, 10, or 20 minute increments rather than taking a day once a week to get everything done (thank you, iPhone app UFYH). The new job won't allow for as much time at home, so I have to stay on top of EVERYTHING.

My interests include healthy living (just say no to the boob tube & center aisles at the grocery store), being active, pets, building stuff, family, friends, and most of all, making fabulous memories. I've never been much of a gym rat, instead getting my exercise outdoors through play (hiking, swimming, etc). I'm beginning to realize that I can't rely on excursions for my fitness, especially in January - hence Insanity.

I'm a go big or go home sort of person. Everything I do, I do 110%. The catch is keeping my interest long enough to complete a task.

If anyone out there is looking for buddies, wants to stay in the positive rather than the negative, and looks toward the future rather than the past, send me a request. This is the sort of support I offer to you and the kind I need for myself.
