Well, hey everybody. :) I'm Trisha and I live in good old Raleigh, NC, born and raised in a little country town north of here. :) I'm a very happy and outgoing person. My weight has never depressed me at all, I guess that's why I've gotten to my highest weight ever. I love me, but I also know I need to be healthier.

I have been overweight since I can remember. I am an only child and I was a preemie at birth. My dad tells me all the time when I was born, that the doctor told him every time I cried to stick a bottle in my mouth. I guess that sort of carried on throughout the years. Sadly...

My mom died when I was 7 and me and my dad have always been best friends. He's my sidekick, lemme tell ya. But him being the single daddy, working 40+ hours for us, taking me to school, cooking, cleaning and all the rest, I guess there just wasn't time for nutrition and exercise. When I was younger, it was Burger King every morning on the way to school. Dinners were spaghettio's and meatballs, hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, or whatever else was around. I honestly don't remember hardly ever having fruits and vegetables. The cheaper and easier the better.

My mom was tall and thin...probably around 5'8"ish and about 125 pounds...she looked like a model...she was absolutely gorgeous. My dad is a bigger guy, but not obese...not really even that much overweight. The fact is, I have horrible metabolism, and I eat too much fast food. :|

It boils down to this: I want to walk up stairs without breathing hard. I don't want to feel awkward when I'm in a place full of normal sized people. I want to be healthy, period. I don't want to die at a young age because I couldn't get my mess together. :)
