My favorite dressing - 2 oz apple cider vinegar, 1 TBS all fruit (love Raspberry or blackberry), and 1 packet Stevia. Mix together and use sparingly. Lasts for about a week in the fridge.

Sounds like it. By the way, did you know if you eat 1 cup raw spinach everyday it helps prevent macular degeneration?

Spinach salad sounds yummy. You are making me hungry for some Wisconsin style wilted spinach salad with blu cheese and hot bacon and vinegar dressing.

I need to buy some blue cheese my next restaurant depot trip--I'm out. Then find some good bacon. My source closed. :(

You sure do eat a lot more greens than I do (more bacon too!). I have to remember to have a few baby carrots in the morning to be sure I get some vegetables that day. I throw away so much lettuce, spinach, etc that I just don't buy much. I'll buy vegetables that will last awhile, like onions. I usually only have salads when I eat out.

Bill, I love bacon but have to be super careful and buy no nitrate or other chemicals added--really hard to find and then really expensive. Most triggers asthma. I could cook and eat a whole pound of it but now use it as an occasional flavoring. I like breathing better. ;) So savor a little occasionally.

@wholefoodnut I’m finding no nitrite or preservative meat much easier to find lately. My local Walmart and WinCo are carrying them. They have celery salt and cherry pits as natural preservatives in some of them and those set my daughter off in small doses. 🤷🏻‍♀️But I have as many problems with the chemicals in the cheese in this country. Can’t eat blue cheese or most of the ‘smoke chemicals’, my DD can’t touch any aged cheese at all. 🙅🏻‍♀️It becomes a crapshoot what we fix and how. LOL 🙋🏻‍♀️

@Bill the cruciferous and leafys are high in magnesium and so with water will bond to toxins in the liver to flush out. Raw pumpkin seeds and chocolate (no sugar) is also on that list! LOL 😆 I’ve also been told that Milk thistle supplement is good for liver detoxification. I took it for over a year and did find that many of my medication tolerance levels didn’t climb higher as I expected them to during that time for what it’s worth. But the magnesium will firstly default to keeping your brain and heart healthy.

smprowett. chemicals set my asthma off. Not sure where you are but here in the center of the country--Missouri-- it takes some time to get healthier options. When I moved here from the East coast there you couldn't buy fresh mushrooms (they only came canned) or even broccoli or cauliflower (frozen only). fresh spinach--also unheard of it ugg came in cans. Life has changed here over the years.

I’m in Oregon. I wonder if you could get Walmart to deliver food? LOL Amazon will if you have prime, but I don’t think I’ve seen meat as an option yet. LOL 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mmmmm, can nearly taste it, it looks so good Bill 👍

smprowett, most of the bigger grocers here are delivering. Would not be surprised to have Walmart follow. Whole food is also if you are in a certain area. Of course they won't to me it's neatly 50 miles.
