Hopefully they can find out what is causing this soon.

Thanks Morticia I don't think they are going to co any more tests. My doctor seems to think it's arthritis and bone spurs but no injury. I'm just going to try and rest as much as possible to heal.I have another appointment with him in 2 weeks. If the pain is still constant ill ask for a cortisone shot.

Might want to see an orthopedist if the pain continues Fritzy.

Oh shoot! I sleep with a pillow under my knees. Really helps with managing soreness from workouts maybe this would work for you.

Pain management - keep that inflammation down, take a regime of painkillers that mean you don't experience pain. Not kidding. took me 50 yrs to learn that this really is the best way to go. :)

Thanks Shir, I hope I won't have to go to a specialist. Right now I am going with what my doctor and the other doctor I saw told me. No swelling, ligaments are strong and to rest. I'm looking at 5 weeks, so if thing are bad after Christmas I will have to do something else.

ThanksDiana. I did walk Bobby for 6 minutes this morning. He kept looking at me because I have to walk so slow. Not sure why the pain was bad all last night and again this morning. Then I was fine for about an hour or so. Hopefully I'll figure out what triggers the pain.

Thanks Redporch. I've have been laying in bed slot with 2 pillows under my knees. Problem is I just can't sleep on my back. Plus, one or two of my cats love it when they can curl up on my stomach! That can't be helping.

Thanks Bubbles, I've been taking 800m Ibuprofen for at least a year. Last year it was leg pain. I was just taking it at night, now I take it 2 or 3 times a day. Inflammation show up in blood tests, really high. What helps is losing weight so I am really working on that!

Thanks Buenita, I know you mentioned something before. Sounds like you are also dealing with knee pain. It's really a common problem

Had similar for several years with cane or crutches. Recently found arthritis formula Ibuprofen. It seems to help more than plain Ibu. Might be worth a try.

Oh dear @ Fritzy! inflammation is awful. Have you heard of the FODMAP diet? it's an attempt at removing inflammation... worth investigating if you haven't already.

Thanks Currlly! Is it a prescription? I take prescription strength Ibuprofen. It usually helps

Thanks Bubbles! I don't really know what inflammation feels like. But my doctor does a blood test based on family history of heart issues. CRP and it's always off the charts high. It did drop nearly in half a few years ago when I lost 50 pounds. But as I gained weight it went back up again. I'm supposed to be following an anti inflammatory diet per my doctor, but I'm not always so good about it.
