Greetings Best Buddies:
Happily, I find using my pre-workout supplement helps me regain strength and energy at the gym - especially this morning. I followed the workout with a protein shake, glutamine and BCAA's.
I have slightly bumped up my protein intake lately but try to remain in the fat burning mode. On Friday morning I saw the "Idiot Box" move slightly down - but today it was back to exactly my current posted weight! Argh...
It will remain to be seen if the localized sinus wash of steroid medication impacts my weight loss or not - it really shouldn't because it is localized to just the sinus area - not throughout the whole body like oral prednisone.
I am keeping my fingers crossed to see movement down!
Words of the Week: "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration." I am dedicated, determined and diligent.

Glad you had a great workout. I hope your sinus therapy works. It's the pits when your nose isn't working.

Glad you had a good workout in the gym. What supplements are you taking? My weight bounces around a lot also so I just look at the long term of getting more fit and hopefully the weight will come off eventually. Hope your sinuses get better and you don't need surgery. Sinus surgery is awful.

You've been getting good long term results regardless of what the scale says. Hope the sinus wash is helpful.

What allergy meds are you taking? Tis the season, you know. Ignore the allergy symptoms and they'll blow up into sinus infections. Some of us have to take allergy meds 365 days a year or else treat 10 sinus infections. And that's hideous on the body's defenses.

YAY!! Hope they work for you. Soonsoonsoon, I'm one of those year round prescription Singular then others when the triggers flare in the area. Right now on several to keep things under control. With allergy triggered asthma it's a keep breathing thing. I hate to have to take them. At least the Singular has few side affects.

SoonSoonSoon - I have sinus polyps that will likely require surgery if this round of sinus wash steroid does not help over the long term.

Ouch HCB, you make me feel lucky with my off and on sinus headaches and occasional infection, no polyp issue, she checked.
