Went to the grocery store early this morning, bought some fresh mozzarella and basil, came home, made a caprice salad and ate it for breakfast. So good.

Goody, nothing is better than fresh from the garden. Do you know this recipe? Cut up fresh tomatoes, add minced garlic, fresh basil, salt and olive oil. Let sit for about 15 minutes while you cook shell pasta (or pasta of your choice, something that will catch the juices). Drain the cooked pasta and immediately pour the hot pasta over the tomato mixture. Stir and let sit for a few minutes, adjusting salt as needed. Enjoy. This simple recipe requires fresh from the garden (or the most favorable you can get) tomatoes, and is one of my favorite summer meals.
