It is a beautiful Monday. I feel good about my new plan - which, so far, is going well.
Am excited about picking my first squash (yellow and zucchini) out of our garden tonight. Will steam them together - so pretty. Can't wait!
But am at work so got to run.
To my slave drivers - Will be back to report exercise tonight.

I'm so jealous! Our squash is just begining to form so it'll be at least a week until we can harvest anything there. Have a good day!

Buffy, I love fresh zucchini and yellow squash, and like Sandy am jealous. Didn't get to put any in myself, so am going to have to rely on the local farmer's market. :(

Stef why can't you put it in now, and harvest in August, or whenever? I don't understand... new to gardening. Where do you guys live that you already have squash... I just put my little plants in the ground 3 weeks ago!!!

Good evening Buffy! I am envious of your garden. This is the first year we have not been able to plant one. I love fresh summer squash! I saute
the green and yellow with onion, sweet red peppers and a fresh tomato. Sometimes I add a sprinkle of shredded cheese, or if I want to eat it as a meal I add bacon or ham. Yummeroo! Have a lovely night, my friend!

Paula - I live in NC and plant my garden April 15th. I plan to plant a couple of more hills for an August crop. But there may be conditions in other parts of the country that would prevent this.

Squiggly - If I could I'd gladly send my whole garden.
