It still tastes like watermelon, but a little different, very tasty. This is a yellow mini-melon, first time I've seen one. I used to get the regular size, only in stores for a short time each year.

We were having a Christmas party one of those years when pina coladas were very popular, and I convinced my mom, who never drank, to have one, and she liked it so much, she had another. The only time in my life I ever saw my mother tipsy. Fun, and funny, a good memory.

I think the yellow variety is a little sweeter, with maybe a hint of a honey taste. I love either.
