I almost hate to say this as I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm under 220lbs this morning, haven't been that weight since 1990 or so. Tomorrow is official weigh-in for the week. I'm loving the 16:8 fast at this point, and eating most of my calories around dinner time limits calorie intake to 500 to 600 calories for a 21 hour period. By doing that I hope to achieve the same health benefits of an alternate day diet. 16:8 is much easier for me to do than alternate day.
Is it possible to get addicted to portabella mushrooms?? :) I've been making portabellas stuffed with turkey, kale, onion, garlic, and feta or gorgonzola cheese several nights a week, it's absolutely delicious and very filling. There's stuffing left over so tonight's menu is the stuffing mix over spaghetti squash, with mashed sweet potato since that's leftover too. Hope everyone has a great day.
