Busy busy busy busy.....between the two of us, over a span of 32 - 40 hours that started on Friday night, we've managed to move a little more than half of the stuff out of our apartment into the new place over the 3 day weekend.

The plan was to start dorming at the new place, but we decided to get a new bed (the old one is a touch too big for the new bedroom, and the mattress is old and saggy). Unfortunately, it won't be delivered for another week, which means another week of sleeping at the apartment (not a HUGE deal, but a bit of a pain considering we have quite a bit of stuff in the new place, and have shut off the internet at the apartment).

There are still a few large items (like the bookshelf) that we can't fit in my car, which we'll need to rent a trailer for at some point. Everything else is minor stuff that can fit in my little hatchback (thankfully the new place is 15 highway minutes from the apartment, so shuttling back and forth won't be too bad). The plan is to move stuff after work during the week, and I'm hoping to have most everything completed by the weekend, leaving us through the end of the month to clean the apartment and get our deposit back.

Crazy busy at work, which only gives me more incentive for my work day to end so I can get back to moving. Thank goodness its only a 4 day work week.

Due to everything going on, exercise and diet have fallen by the wayside for the moment (its hard to cook when your dishes and pans are packed up!). Even if I'd had the energy to exercise this weekend, I was so sore all over and covered in bruises I dont' think I would've lasted.

Don't worry if I fall quiet, just busy with working, moving, and lack of internet outside of work.

Yes, moving can be a good thing -- I'm usually EXHAUSTED afterward so my muscles must be doing something right! Hey, Chica, what's up? Did you every get that cake recipe out My Cookbook?

I have the recipe I just forget to but all of the ingredients. I've never baked with whole wheat flour before. But I am really excited about trying it. I got into some ice cream (I feel like a mouse). I'll PM you.

Kitty, seems a lot of us have the moving bug! :D Im just now trying to catch up on what everyones been up to since our problems with our internet provider. After our move we are going with a different servicer. Hope your move is smooth & wishing the same for us! :D

Sounds like you are making great progress with you move! I am sure all the exercise you are getting moving boxes and such will make up for a few slip ups in the food department. New place - new bed - summer starting- all good beginnings!
