Happy 😃 happy 😃 Saturday....

Started my 72 hour fast yesterday at 7am...right after breakfast...decided what the heck...15 more minutes...first 24 over...and starting a new 24....shooting for Monday at 7am...which would be 72 hours....my longest fast in a long time....but since I fast everyday...for 17-18 hours...seems easy....

Did my morning ride/workout in zwift this morning....drank my electrolytes and did some creatine as usual....at mile 12...had a slight cramp...but pushed on....was trying to hit my challenge in Strava for 400 km by end of feb....I hit it....was calculating what I needed to ride to hit it as I rode....when I seen I hit it....ride over...lol....

Fog here today...38 now....and high today of 60... put on short sleeve shirt yesterday...took off the long John shirt....hoping to hang it in closet for 6 months...or so...

Well....no prep on food today...since I’m fasting...but do need to refill electrolytes water bottle for tomorrow...in the event I decide to ride...just to limber up...

Remember stupid dreams..last night...dreamed I cut railroad track rail small section..to be able to carry it...to use it to block under cars front shell to keep it from rolling....duh....rail would weigh to much to even be able to move it....being on longer fast tonight....can’t wait to see how dumb next dream is....

Congrats on exercise while in fasted state and for your great activity accomplishments. You are doing so great! I can cook while fasting too, doesn't bother me. I make my bf cookies while fasting. LOL Also, thanks for your support.

sincere question, when you do these extended fasts, how do you have the energy to ride or do other physical stuff? is it just mental?

You have a 45 min storage of glucoses in your body...once you hit that limit....then your energy level decreases....I do a ride on a 17-18 hour fast daily....it’s something I had to build up to

It’s not exactly 45 minutes...when I ride...depending on how hard I’m riding...depends on how fast I go thru my limit...today’s ride was a slower pace...so took longer...before I hit the wall....of no energy

Lol! I love your dream comments! Last night I dreamt that someone took my plane ticket and I was talking loudly to a voice over a speaker in the ceiling about it in front of everyone in the lobby. Dreams are funny!
